Kate was born and raised in the midwest, and now enjoys her time on Maui making pottery, working as an American Sign Language/English Interpreter, and exploring all the wonders of the island. Introduced to clay in high school, she continues to be amazed at the creative possibilities it has to offer. In the past twenty years on Maui, her ceramics have been displayed at the Hui No E'au, Four Seasons Hotel, Lahaina Arts Society, Art Maui, and Viewpoints Gallery.
